Two new indie games have been announced today, the first is a Wii U exclusive from Internal Invasion developers Bear Box Media. The second title is current OUYA-exclusive puzzle game Fake Colors which has been announced for both the Wii U and 3DS eShops.
In U Host players take on the role of a quiz host which allows for multiple question categories, bonus rounds, penalties, mini games and more. The question categories include technology, history and more, and the included mini games will generally be the Contestants vs the Host. The Host will either set up the game before play begins, or will simultaneously play, as for everyone else, they\’re competing against one another. Interestingly players will also be able to make their own questions with upto four possible answers., rules and penalties.
When the game releases by this Otober, players will be able to recreate games similar to Who Wants to be a Millionaire, Wheel of Fortune and popular board games. The host will be able to arrange for questions to be displayed wither on the Gamepad or on the TV, players will then be able to \”buzz in\” with a Wii Remote, Pro Controller or simply their voice! There\’s also a free mobile app in development which will work in conjunction with this.
Fake Colors is a 3D puzzle game currently a timed OUYA-exclusive. Forthright Entertainmnt have revealed that the game will also release on the Wii U & 3DS eShops. Players roll cubes across varying platforms aiming to match up the colors. Players can only move in the direction that the side of the cube\’s color matches the intended path. The game will launch with thirty levels, but obviously more could be added later if the game sells well enough.
