Ubisoft\’s last mature title for the Wii U has never been seen in the open, but thanks to a small update to their UPlay App there is hope that we may begin to hear some concrete information soon. Several months ago, Ubisoft (again) angered many Nintendo-fans by announcing that the Wii U version of Watch Dogs was delayed until the end of 2014 whilst all the other versions made their March release date. On the surface this didn\’t seem all too bad as they confirmed they would be adding several unique Wii U features around the console\’s GamePad. When coupled with the fact that Ubisoft also delayed Rayman Legends for the Wii U so they could release the game as a multi-format game instead of an exclusive, a clear sign of double standards begin to emerge.
Ubisoft have yet to reveal any concrete information or even screens or footage from the Wii U game, but the new UPlay app update gives the first concrete piece of evidence that Ubisoft are indeed bringing the game to Wii U and have not been lying to gamers for the best part of a year.
