In a recent issue of Famitsu, they sat down with the head of the Zelda team, Eiji Aonuma, for an interview. Naturally, they talked of Zelda, and the upcoming Wii U game came up. According to a translation of the interview, many visual styles were discussed for a large open-world title before settling on the current style. While talking of the visuals, Aonuma said
Now it looks more amazing than what was shown at E3.
They also discussed the enemy that appears in the trailer. It is nothing like what is previously seen in the series, as you have to come up with a way to defeat it while escaping on horseback. “If an enemy like this appears, how would you beat it?” is a scenario that the team is trying to have in the game. Aonuma finished by saying that Nintendo may have new things to show off at next E3.
So what do you think of this news? More excited than ever for next June? Excited to see how that enemy will appear in-game? Sound off below!
