According to a new report, Nintendo was the fifth top-spender on advertisements in the video game industry in North America. In total, the company spent more than $7 million on advertisements, spanning across 15 different ads and 13 different TV networks. Nintendo ads ran a total of 2,762 times, with the bulk of the spending used on Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon for the 3DS.
The other four companies that spent more on advertisements than Nintendo were Activision, Bethesda, EA, and Ubisoft.
